Refurbishing furniture with chalk paint
Do you have old furniture at home that needs restoration and you can't afford a specialist?
You can do it yourself at a low cost. They don't have to be antiques for the whole venture to be worthwhile. All it takes is a bit of self-discipline, imagination, and a little time to make your furniture regain its former glory.
The great invention of recent times – chalk paint, renew old furniture without sanding, removing the old surface, or priming. The matte finish allows you to achieve a vintage effect.
Acrylic paint
This is an acrylic (water-based) paint that combines the best of previously known paints. It is environmentally friendly and contains no toxic ingredients. Chalk paints can be used in poorly ventilated rooms, they are designed for home use, without the need for a special painting area. There is no need for prior sanding or priming. It spreads easily, it can be mixed with other colors. Suitable for use on all surfaces (fabrics, walls, floors, raw or varnished wood, melamine, plastic, glass, metal, and stone). Paint with a brush or roller, depending on personal preference. Remember to use wax to seal the paint.
